Access port question

So my STI's in economy mode, and the access port was in my truck when it was stolen. Does anyone know if the ECU can be reflashed via either a cobb tuner or by tactrix or if the ECU is locked to the married AP?

It's a good question for the future though... I can totally see someone dropping an A/P in a puddle or something.

For future reference (people who find this thread in a search) just call COBB with questions like that; they are super helpful.

If it's a V1 or a V2 with old firmware, you can still flash the ECU with a tactrix cable. If it's a V2 with relatively new firmware, the ECU is locked and can only be flashed or reverted by another V2 AP.

Thanks
