A ? About Tahoe and My Springs

My wagon is sitting on Eibach springs (about 1 in drop all around). Do you guys forsee any major problems if I head up to the Sierras on these and the RE92's?

bluwrxwgn says my wheel wells will probably be caked if it's snowing heavy. Any other thoughts?

I'm running STI springs and struts on my car and I haven't had any problems. I have had to clean out some on a couple of occasions out of the wheel well. Your car will be more prone to sliding out because your springs are so stiff and won't give like stock ones do. Drive slow!! Unless you like drifting a lot!

This is what happens when you go to Tahoe with a lowered car.....Not really, just what happens when you drive crappy. Saw it on the way home today from Kirkwood.

Marc the only problem with being lowered is trying to clean out the wheel well. On stock height I only had a very small amount of room to get in there and clean it out. If I was lowered, I may have to raise one side up a bit to clean out. And in below freezing temps, that wouldn't be very fun.

Chuck you saw that on sunday. That really sucks that somebody got stuck like that. Probably hit a patch of ice they weren't prepared for. It was really icy when me and Ryan left. And I had a Suburban riding my *** for a section of it. Idiot drivers.

Yeah there were a couple other cars involved as well. I didn't notice any ice where that was but there were a few spots of ice when I left as well.

Thanks guys. I drive slow as it is so that's not a problem. Now the problem will be - getting stuck in bad Donner Summit traffic with a manual... Ugh!
