8th Annual BAIC Meet Sign-Ups!! August 3rd, 2008
crap, I just noticed another BBQ on the same day as this one 
"CALEA Day open house beginning at 12 PM on Sunday, August 3 and lasting until 2:00 PM.
The open house event is open to all Sheriffs Department Employees and Volunteer units and their families. There will be a barbaque lunch provided from 12-1. This is a chance to bring your family and see some of the other departments within the Sheriffs office. There will be equipment displays from all the different departments, but the EOD and SWAT Units equipment and EVOC demonstrations are very popular.
If you have the time, come out and bring your family to see what only you do for SAR, but what the department does overall."

EOD is Explosive Ordnance Disposal
if you've ever watched mythbusters when they blow **** up at the ALCO sheriff's department (dublin)..., yeah, that's right behind the Barn where our SAR vehicles are
maybe if we merged our BBQ with the ALCO SO BBQ, you could all enjoy EOD, SWAT, and EVOC demo's
