Very nice RWC Officer pulled me over, gave me a bit of a lecture, I was apologetic, and we parted ways.

you lucky man!!! The only ticket I have ever gotten was in RWC on 101S. The officer came up to me asked for my license then went back to his car for a minute or two, then came back and gave me my speeding ticket. Told me to get up to 65 mph before merging back on. Wish I had meet a nice officer... but congrats on not getting a ticket

I once got a ticket for doing 64 on 101, back when the speed limit was 55. It's always good to hear stories that end up on a more positive note.

 

ive gotten away with alot of traffic violations... ALOT! but have also getten a fair share of tickets also... what sucks is that everytime ive gotten away with a ticket i can only think to myself that the big one is coming...

I've been pulled over 6 times in my life, and only gotten two tickets. Pulled for 100+ somewhere near the coast on my motorcycle (pulled my friend over too! lol)...officer was a rider and just said slow down. Same deal most other times.

One ticket was blatantly running a red light because I was out of it at 3am (went when the left arrow turned), and the other was 64 in a 35. I really deserved them.

 

maybe the cop was a fellow auto enthusiast...

anyways, do something good to someone...

 

never speed around the Woodside and Whipple exits both directions. There is a CHP and RWC station right off the freeway on Veterans.

Actually I usually never speed on 101 because I'm stuck in traffic.

 

wow, how come that never happens to me! Cops pull me over and sometimes we dont even exchange a word. Its like...."you know why i pulled you over"... yada yada...ticket bouce!

 

LOL...don't trip. you pulled over b/c you were doing the cop a favor, right? he knows that your WRX can outrun his cruiser and he knows you can kick his ***, but you pulled over out of respect for him...

 

Man, you are so lucky. Over the Memorial day weekend, I got tagged for 75 on a 65 zone (101 south right before Prunedale/Salinas). I'm pretty sure I got the ticket for revenue purpose more than safety.
