yea i read that ealier today. seems pretty cool to do but i am buying a vf22 soon and 740's i feel will be way to big. That would mean alot of scaling back on the fuel.

I'm just sitting here looking at my STi pinks and my VF34 wondering if I should sit back and wait for a 16G.

So once cut, the STi pinks are identical to the stock WRX injectors. crazy to pay >$300 for them, or for PE's that don't work right.

NO cars using these turbos "need" these injectors on a 2.0 ltr in street tune.

Stock turbo
Any form of a modified stock turbo
VF24
VF35

Turbos that could make use of these injectors:
16G
1820
1818
AVO400
AVO450
AVO500
T3/T4 setups (50,57,60 ect..)
T04 series turbos in general
SR40
SR50
GT30's
18G
20G

I don't think I suggested cutting the pinks, I just meant that we're paying that $300 premium for a slightly different cap on top of the injector, no real design differences.

I also meant I was staring at them and they were looking like $300 sitting there when I sell them and use the money for a bigger turbo.

The question is will they sell for $300 once everyone starts modding their injectors for free...

I'd pay $200 for a lightly used set of pinks...

That wasn't the question...that's the obvious implication of this.

But the midrange people (all the above turbos) will still need the pinks or some SERIOUS fuel removal.

That's a boon to the Impreza community....but I'll wait and see someone else do it first.

Me too, but unfortunately they still go for $300-330.

I like the one guys idea to just drill some more small-*** holes in the cap so there isn't so much flow there.
