Ok so I have no figured out why nasa is no longer going to be in business. They have all forgotten everything about physics and the way the atmosphere works.
Lets use the space shuttle as an example. It weighs more than 6 tons and is one solid mass. If the shuttle were to say come in upside down is would almost totally burn up as it enteres earths atmosphere.
We are talking about 6 tons divided by 26. So if it broke up equally each piece would only weigh .237 tons and would not be aerodynamic at all with alot of flat surfaces.
I really dont think that much is going to hit the earth. Now I dont know what it is constructed of and I am not a NASA scientist whom I hope are way smarter than me, but.
We shall see.......
