49ers 09/10 Season Thread
Niners have a 28th rank offense and 28th rank passing offense... with that said.
Should the niners...
#1 Keep Crabtree (So far turned down $20mil for 5 years, 16mil guarenteed. He wants more money.)
#2 Trade Crabtree (Nov. 17th is the deadline to sign him, if no sign, then 7 weeks for a trade if no trade.. then...)
#3 Don't do crap, let him re-enter the draft... and well, really blow last years first rounder on nothing.
IMO Niners D is solid, next years draft is probably going for an explosive player (devin hester/desean jackson like... maybe even 2, since Bruce will be gone soon and no one else is really an impact player besides Davis, Morgan IMO just plain sucks) and an offensive lineman.
Delanie Walker + Davis are solid, probably gonna be with the team for a while, both fast, both big, and both have hands and can block.

crabtree is in SF and his agent is on his way (tues)
the fact that crabtree is here and didnt travel with his agent tells me hes ready to sign no mater what his agent is advising, cause if you ask me the hold out was all waged on the 49ers NOT BEING 3-1 and with every win his chances of getting his $$$ looks more and more foolish
so chances are hes ready to play football and put down the game of Russian roulette
like it or not the 49ers CANT pass up crabtree! they need to sign him! then do whatever with him down the line!
i will boo him just as loud as the next niner fan when he walks out on the field but saddly the alternatives are just not any better

okay, everyone repeat with me, and this time "with feeling!"
Regarding Crabtree:
"Sign and Trade.
Sign and Trade!"
that is all.
don't need someone like him on this team, whose passion for $$ outweighs his passion for football. I don't see that lasting too long.
