Yeah, all of us Hitman fans were disappointed with the guy they picked... Though it could have been worse... The original person cast for this role was Vin Diesel! 
Thank god they changed their minds!
They should have used the guy from the Transporter, or the SEAL from Future Weapons. The guy from Future Weapons looks exactly like 47!

Jason Statham would have been a good choice. Lol at the dude from Future Weapons; at least the studio would have saved money on weapons training.

+ a billion. Stratham's not the most gifted action star nor a muscleman or James Bond kind of guy, but he's quite simply looks like the most badass looking **** who ever lived.
He's got the quintessential "I'm gonna kill you" stare. Not since Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry have we seen a badass facial expression like that.

Problem with Statham, and it's rumored as to why they didn't cast him, is because he's too short... He's like 5'7 wheras Agent 47 is 6'1.
He'd be standing next to a lot of people, so they'd have to do mad camera tricks... Must suck to be short.

PS: I think they could have done camera tricks to make him look taller... He was the best candidate by far. There's even a youtube movie with him playing agent 47 that some fans made... Look it up, it's quite good. (Search for Statham Hitman)

this Statham guy is the Transporter actor? if so that would be cool...Transport 1 was cool, and 2 was ruined so he needs another chance.
