403whp ~95 Octane

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know Mike's car made 403whp on ~95octane today. Good A/F, no knock according to Mike. This is with our Gruppe-S GT35R WRX Turbo kit and a 2.35L fully built motor at 21psi. Stay tuned for the C16 numbers next week.

Cheers,

Gary
Gruppe-S

btw, it's a Mustangdyne AWD if any one's wondering. About 20-25whp lower than dynojet, pretty much inline with dyno-dynamics.

crap... you got some serious power going there, imagine if you swapped this whole engine / drivetrain into your L and ran it on C16.... actually that would probably be pretty scary.

Just about anything you do in the path of your WRX exhaust is not smog legal besides a catback. Even if you are running clean enough to pass the sniffer, you'd fail the visual test if the tech is ****. That being said there are a lot out there that dont care that much. YMMV

The tech doesn't have to be "****" to fail ur car...its his job...its hard to explain unless u know what the fines and jail time is if he/she doesn't give a S***.

If u get a smog with a aftermarket open BOV, without cats and a set of headers then its on U.

I've seen guys with a flashs/catted TBE/TMIC upgrades/IHI turbo upgrades pass.

The key is making eveything look stock and " low key"...then after u can reinstall ur bing bing mods
