3rd Annual BAIC Party! Official thread. Details inside. Please read.
Please respond, I need a headcount for food, and such!
July 13th, 2003, at 11:30-6:00pm!
Thanks to the very generous donations from our BAIC Vendors, and members, we're throwing a HUGE party for ALL of the BAIC's members (Impreza, or not). The party is being held at Joseph D Grant park, off of Mt Hamilton road. I rented the Rose garden, which is a little more than an acre. See the pictures below. That's where the party will be held.
Food Tri-Tip Steak, Chicken Thighs and breasts, BBQ Ribs, and a vegetarian option (Still pending). There will also be member brought food. As far as the sides go, we'll have potato salad, salad, corn, etc. (Please throw out suggestions)
Drinks Lots of bottled water, Soda, and 2 kinds of beer. (Beer will not be served after 2:30pm, and will not be given to anyone under the age of 21).
Events MPJ Performance has provided us BAIC members with a live DJ! On top of that, there will be football, frisbee, and whatever else you want to do. Please throw out suggestions.
So there you have it folks. Bring your husbands, wives, gf's, bf's, brothers, or sisters. This is going to be one HELL of a party.
Everyone is invited, so I don't want to hear any excuses. Party starts at 11:30, and goes to 6:00pm or later.
Before dusk, we'll pack everything up, and head up to the Mt Hamilton Lick Observatory. From there, we'll watch the sun set. The views from up there are EPIC. This was a picture taken last night:

The Joseph D. Grant County Park is located at 18405 Mt. Hamilton Rd., San Jose, CA 95140, in the east of Santa Clara Valley. Travel to the park by taking Highway 101 or Highway 680 to Alum Rock Avenue eastbound in San Jose. Turn right onto Mt. Hamilton Road and travel eight miles to reach the park entrance.
(I'll post little signs in the park, so you know where to go. (Just look for the parking lot of 100 imprezas. haha)

This place is great. The entire area is so nice. And the parking lot is huge. More than accomdate over 100 Impreza's or what not. So everybody show up. And try to park facing out so we can get some really good pictures.

sweet!! i can't wait, this is going to be the best bbq/meet EVAR!!! Everyone has to come out for this one, there should be at least 100+ subarus. last year was dope and this year is going to be 100 times better.
