31 American soliders dead in helicopter crash!
One of the SEALS was a very good friend of mine. I served with him. It's tough to think he's gone. I was looking forward to meeting up with him again someday. RIP Jon. You were always an inspiration.

I used to train quite a bit with him. We swam, ran and worked out together. He would train for the Ironman to train for BUDS. His first attempt, he quit during hell week. He had prepared physically, but mentally... I remember, when he got back he told me " Jeff you know all the stuff that "I've been through, I never done anything that difficult" Jon was the kind of guy that never quit. 110% all the time. After failing at his first attempt he was very depressed for a couple of weeks. He made it through second time around. Awesome guy.
RIP brother...

OMG Jeff, this is the saddest thing I've ever seen. Literally brought a tear to my eye. At Jon's funeral:
His dog refusing to leave his side...

Dogs have a deeper connection , emotion, dedication and love than most humans are capable of. The last thing my dig did was crawl through a seizure to comfort me.

RIP to the fallen soldiers that serve this great nation, IMO we should've been out long time ago so that families like these wouldnt have to get the noticed that their love ones were killed in action.
