That's my team . We just got a motor back in the car on Monday and are working out a couple kinks. Still just a normally aspirated 2.5L 4 banger automatic station wagon though The car is running well though and we'll be there this weekend. BTW, your team had my vote as "People's Choice" in July You guys were quick and ran a nice clean race. Looking forward to seeing you guys and the rest of the nutball Lemons racers in a couple days. Hopefully we'll last a heck of a lot longer the last go around.

Our car is exactly as it was last time out, just with a *hopefully* more reliable and lower mileage motor. That and a bigger/taller radiator that I was too lazy to cut the core support to lower in to place. So I just cut a hole in the hood to clear the rad cap Since our car only took a couple minor hits out there last time (which all popped out) we left the paint alone. We did however raid the sticker bin at the shop and according to them we are sponsored by about 15 different companies! I do have to give a shout out to Tim Bailey from Surgeline Tuning. He found our new motor for us, got us a get deal on it and even helped out with shipping down to us. Tim is the bomb! Some of you guys might know him from his days at PDX Tuning, but he has now formed his own tuning firm. Get a hold of him if you need a tune. *End shameless sponsor plug*

Thanks Natalie. We are certainly hoping to be running when the checkered flag waves this time. My name is Paul. There are actually two Pauls on our team. I'm the (somewhat) slimmer one We are leaving from SoCal around 10:00am so we should be there around 3:00-4:00pm. See you there. Stop on by to say hi if you get a chance.

I'll be back at this race. This time around I'll be in a Tiki-hut themed FX16. We're heading up for the test session in a few minutes!

See y'all out there.

Thanks Natalie. You guys were flying out there at times. Sorry to hear about your mechanical woes. I did catch wind of overnight motor swaps.

We ran ok, and were running pretty good times even though we could not go WOT right out of any corner. We had a really wierd stumble/hesistation/misfire when going WOT. After pedaling it a couple times it would clear up and off we went, but that cost us a lot of speed. We never got it resolved. We also lost about an hour and half and 70 laps to a bent control arm. We lost about another 10 laps or so to a couple bent tie rods. Jay also gave us a 20 lap penalty even though we weren't penalized last time out for overspending. We were given a $500 budget to resurrect the car, of which we only spend about $300, but somehow we got dinged. Go figure. No big deal though, we still had a blast and I'm already figuring out which car I want to take to next year's race.
