So ... $42K for the car, $15K for the ESX package and $18K for the _______? I don't see anything even listed on the sticker (unless it is in invisible ink) as to what the extra $18K is for? Is that just the Dealership Markup?

They had 2 of these at the dealership in Fairfield....I think one got sold O_o. I went there to get parts and the lady asked if I was trading in my 04 STi for the "red super fast car" I lold and said "I don't like rice" she gave me a weird look...

It would be hilarious if the very fine print read..."this is sold as an aftermarket non-SOA approved modified vehicle and therefore carries no warranty and sold AS IS."

Damn, I paid 29k for a brand new 04 sti when it came out. Now it's 42k base? Granted inflation over 10 years, but 45%?

Adjusted for inflation, 2004 STi would have cost around $36,500 in today's dollars, so it is more like 15% minimum increase. But still...

The reason they keep increasing the price of the STi is because they keep giving the engine really cool updates and have increased the power significantly

That was a joke

Base is only $34495, this is a limited with lots of add-ons. The limited starts at $38495, but this has all the extra nav and keyless on it putting it north of 40k.

and still its not 75k.

Better to find a 2012 for 30k, drop 20k on motor and suspension, and tada, you have a beast.
