Round 1 is at Great America Parkway in Santa Clara this Sunday. The usual i-clubbers will be there and any noobs are more than welcome to come and give it a try..we can hook you up with your tire pressures, numbers, class etc...just bring your license...I'm car 717, WRB WRX in the STX class.

It's a great way to learn how to put your car on the limit...slightly overstep the limit..then gather it back in before it all goes wrong...(took me a while to learn how not to completely spin out when things get squirly)...worst case scenario is that you hit a few cones...a lot safer place to drive on the limit than roads and a lot of fun and very addicting...

I definitely agree with you Glen! I have something planned that day, so I just plan to stop by in the morning to watch and talk to the usual people. What run group is STX?

STX is the first of the afternoon groups...so best show up before registration closes at 1.00pm

 

They were doing some drift thing last weekend. I'll likely be @ Sears Point this weekend with the NASA TT group Audi.

Don't just be spectater...you can ride along with me as long as your not a screamer....screamers really put me off my rythm
