I've owned an 08 G37S coupe(sedan is actually negligibly faster than the coupe) and 06 STI. Two totally different cars. It really depends upon what the driving priorities are. I personally love having (true) push-button start lol. G37 is way more expensive to mod, and obviously slower.

I'd say G37S unless he needs AWD, or wants lots more power through mods (in which case, a 335i would provide both luxury and power)
I love both sedan and coupe G37S, too bad their AWD versions are not available in 6MT

he originally wanted the g37 but i told him to look into subaru.
and yeah of course i showed him the 2010 legacy gt..i love that car
but i guess the interior didnt appeal to him.
i guess he might go with the g37 at the end since its a luxury car that gets the same gas mileage as the sti.

B's are great, nicely upgraded interior, the nav isn't too bad (Infiniti's is way better I would imagine), 6MT...Throw different springs on the Bilsteins and you have a very capable/easily modded kinda-sorta-almost luxury car...
