2009 Fix-it tickets!!

so i knew fix it tickets went to 25 dollars from 10 in 2009, but get this i went to the court today and i was told that it is 25 per offense, therefor if you get a ticket for 3 fix its its 75 with proof and so on!! i guess thats thier way fo getting this ****ty state out of debt, kinda redicuous IMO but i guess u gotta pay to play

25 per offense, not per ticket, so be fore you mouth off to the cops like i sometimes do, think about how much ull be spending if he keeps adding violations lol

That's probably why they issue the fix it tickets in the first place. I usually escape fix it tickets by being nice to the officer.

But thanks for the warning. Is no front plate even more now? i heard it was $1XX?

Edit: +1 to post#2 I typed that exact thing, but erased it figuring someone else would speak up lol

because it pisses me off when they try to tell me **** and they dont know what they are talking about, i havent done this in awhile but when i had my bagged truck i got cuffed a few times for mouthing off, its just when they say somethign is illegal and its not i just prove them worng, like on my bagged truck they said hydraulics are illegal and i would point out that it wasnt hydros it was air and its perfectly legal and so on or when they used to say i was driving too low, on a 30 series tires the law states you caonnot have any part of teh chassis lower than the loweest point of the rim, so like 1.5 inches off the ground and they pulled me for being too low, jsut when they think the know everything

cops probably bait you because they want to punk you at that point... your car is extensively modded so I would be super nice... i.e. pull over, shut off motor, put keys on dash, interior lights on, wait til cop gets to window and then ask how he's doing

Why make people's days worse? If you make his bad, he's likely to pound you twice as hard for being a douche bag. Be nice, he's doing his job. If he's a *****, he's a *****. But I wouldn't mouth off, you WILL lose every time.

+1, never mouth off a cop unless you're willing to pay more. Think about it if you were in his shoes: if someone acted like a d-bag to you, wouldn't you do the same? especially given the titles they have, they probably would.

And if you have to, have to argue that something is lawful, take it to court. You'll almost never win on the streets until you put the cop below a higher authority (judge).

true, but not totally, it has always been seperate charges but if you had 3 fix it's on the same citation and got them all fixed it was still only 10 dollars, not 30, and now that it's 25 per offense if you get 3 fix it's on the same citation it's 75 not 25

I did once... Got me in DEEP DOODOO.

He followed me around trying to get me to screw up. Finally got me for no front plate. I went off on the guy and it turned out I didn't have my lisense, reg or proof of insurance with me.

ooops.

I agree...don't be a dick to cops.

However, I actually jumped this one cop's **** here where I live. Some punk kid about 2 years out of high school. You know, the kid who was not cool enough for the local car crowd (or whatever his deal was, don't really care) so he becomes a cop and hates on imports...even the other cops calls him "Fuzzy"

Anyway, I tore into him about profiling imports. I was very adamant about the fact that I do NOT speed, I do NOT street race, and I am just a dude who enjoys having a clean sporty car. Once I asked for his badge number, his name, and the name of his watch commander he got in his car and drove off

I thought I had screwed myself royally, but he and his profiling buddy have not looked my way since. Not recommended however lol.

Off topic, but I am proud that I fought the injustice and won

Sucks about the fix-its thought. Oh well I am rocking my front plate now, and I will probably remove the 35% front tint as it is a cop magnet...

when someone mouths off to me, I keep adding them. . .

- u keep it real with me
- the less i will cite you

not all cops are like this; but 90% are. . .

*Remember, us cops hate paperwork as much as anyone does, but worth writing if someone is being ghey*

Now if you drive stupid or cause unnecessary attention; then it's worth writing
