The "293 HP" is because of the new method of rating horsepower or rather a "readjustment". Nothing's changed as far as how the engine is tuned out of factory.

That is my point they should have released the Sti exactly like that from the get go. Instead of 800 limited models that should be the new standard or atleast offer it as an option with two different trims.
