the vapors was the defogger for nos. i think. it pretty much preps the nos. but im not too sure.

 

oh man read the sport compact car article on these cars. All of them if I remember correctly are slower than their stock forms. Oh and what really gets me goin is that they converted the skyline from it's AWD glory into rear wheel so they could have the tail slide out easier. Sigh.... still haven't gotten up the nerve to go see it. I don't think it would be worth it unless it was filler during movie hoping.

 

Yeah it does prepare the nos... plus it looks kinda cool.

BTW...I have no interest in seeing the movie.

Maybe when they show it on NBC or something but i'd rather put my money toward gas.

just seen it tonight, First of all it's just a MOVIE!!!!!. yes it was full of rice but you have to put your movie glasses on. yes the cars are slow in the real world but again its a MOVIE!!!! The driving sences are really cool I thought. for the most part it was o.k. and that chick is soooooooooo! hot. I would'nt say its worth making a point to go see the movie but these movies are the first to involve imports and make it big. It's not like the first movie was good but i still own the dvd anyways, but its a good thing to get more of the public interested in stuff in our world even if it is to rice out there car. That just means the market is here to stay and the manufacters maybe will import more of all those cars we dream about having here in the states. Take the movie for what its worth a MOVIE!!!!!! and enjoy it (if you can). THOMAS

some of u guys dont know what your talking abotu and ur still talking smack about the MOVIE?

first off...the question about the blower! comeon!!! if ur into cars and read forums...u have got to know what a blower is.

2nd...the comment about the skyline? well...tail sliding is a lot more cool than awd grip driving isn't it? wats wrong with making a skyline itno rwd? u do know that skylines dont really sport real full time awd dotn u? its like 10/90 split until the car feelts more traction is needed. the skylien awd system is more of a cheating awd system that only kicks in when that extra traction is needed.
it can be done by simply pulling a fuse. i have a friend that does it a lot so he can drift around at autox/ track events.

the cars were proibably slow because they were rolling around on 19s and have a lot more weight in the cars due to the rice mods plus i doubt the cars were driven super hard. it takes professional drivers to get fast quarter mile times out of the stock cars...and i doubt those drivers driving the cars from the movie were as good.

 

It was the SCC guys driving the cars.
that said, most of the moive cars were driven hard and put away wet, and some, like the Evo VII, had something like 180 miles on them....... Take an as-delivered car ,tnen cane it for 200 miles with no breakin, and see how it runs; no maintenance on the cars either, I'm sure....

the Yenko copy was fast because if you've got a big motor with no power adders, there's a helluva lot less to go wrong/break....

It was painful to see what the Blackbird turned into, though.....

 

well, lets see, i dont spend all my time on forums, this is the only one i am on, and i spend a lot of time on cars alone or with friends, so i am not really exposed to the terminology for different items. and i am mostly into subaru, and it doesnt seem that there is a whole lot of talk about a supercharger out there for them, so not a whole lot of people mention the name blower on i-club.
edit: sorry i dont know a single thing about cars, i am a total n00b that cant wire up or install anything
