So,

Here is the story:
I was awoken this morning at 630 am by a call from one of my residents at my complex. They claimed their car had been vandalized. I get dressed and walk outside to see one of the most sad things I've ever had to encounter living in mountain view.

Cars had black sharpie pen all over them, walls had graffiti written with Blue paint pens and black sharpies. 4 "words" were all over the place, "FAKER" , "GAR" , "Cheat", and "MP5". On our staircase there is a "Motherf****ing 5ive".

All the cars but a few in my lot were vandalized.

The police came and took a report at 745am. Now, thinking that this event was horrible and all over with, i try to settle down because i had a midterm at 11. well, make some breakfast and watch some TV, then leave the complex at 1045am.

Midterm went awesome!

I return at 11:45am, and 8 new graffiti tags appeared in blue paint pen, fresh. The police officer returned in shock, we had pictures of areas that didnt have tags, that new tags were on (a door, and a few walls in the back of the parking area) Upon talking to the officer,he told me that the apts nextdoor to me got hit, and the backside of the shell gas station at the end of the street - all last night.

.... What is this world coming to?


PS- in good news atleast he wasn't a thief also, just some kids is my guess... but its soo sad, they(or it) have 14 felonies and 12 misdemeanors stacked against them now.

No video surveillance of the area? Hopefully the Shell station has some security footage!

 

The cop i talked to said there has been no video so far, and this person or these people have been really active in my area for the last month, they have hit like 4 apts a residential court over 150 cars..... caused a large amount of damage...


It's sad.... i hope the cops catch them before my residents do i've talked to a few and the conversations have been funny =P (hey atleast it is bringing my community together lol)

It's someone that lives in one of the two apartment complexes. Kids like that are not too smart. Look for the places that didn't get hit... they live there.

WD-40 easily removes Sharpie pen ink!! and will not damage the paint..

 

So will denatured alcohol and it won't leave oily stuff

Solution:

Run down to the army surplus and pick up some night/urban camo, buy yourself a very high power (1200fps) pellet gun and a nice selection of holowpoint pellets. Put on camo, load up gun, go sit in bushes quietly starting around 11 tonight. Wait, wait, and when punk group of kids comes, put a round into the first ones crotch. Second round goes to the thigh of anyone looking around. Now shift to another bush quietly, and 3rd round goes into rump/thigh of random target. By this time they will be in a panic and running, 4th and 5th rounds if you have time to the middle of the meat of the shoulder along the back, where it hurts.

...I of course have never done this, I would never condone this. Had I done it, I wouldn't have a clue that it worked great, and the vandalism stopped overnight, nor would I have a clue that a neighbor kid had a limp the next day...nope don't know any of that.

 

Thats not that bad. My mom kept her car in the garage after I believe in WC, there was like 150 silver audi's keyed all in one night or so.Luckily we didn't get hit.
