102F fever... what to do :P

Wow this sucks. I was sick last week, but not too bad. And now BAM I'm like a walking oven. Man I feel like crap.

So, what to do?

-Ebay?

-Maintain my 3rd place spot on # of posts on BAIC.NET

-Swiss Almond Vanilla and Hershey's Syrup?

-Hi-Rev Tuners? HAHAHAHAHA OK they actually had a technical show the other week

-Watch Bullitt again?

-Think of more ways to propose to my gf?

-Start another "Do You Believe In God?" thread (NO WAY!)

-Shave my cat?

I'm dyin' here... what to do?

Cool

Think of new ways to propose. I just got over that hurdle a month ago. It was nerve racking, but it feels really good once you get it done. Good luck and get well!

Buy tons of popsicles, and drink hot chamomile & lemon ginger tea w/Honey & Lemon.

Oh, and definately hook up the pre-nup before doing anything foolish like getting married!

Hehehe thanx for the replies and all the congrats and good ideas (like the tequila thing ). I'm doing much better.

The unfortunate part is I've had to focus my attention on my poor kitty She's been ill too. But it turns out she has terminal kidney failure and I have to go put her to sleep tomorrow... she's only 5 years old

I'm really sorry to hear about yor cat

My wife and I love cats......we don't have kids, we have cats...4 of them.

Very sorry to hear about your loss.

We had cat that had a alot of health problems come on all at once a few years ago (unfortunately, he was my wife's favorite), and we finally had to lay him to rest. I know how you feel.

take care,

Jimr

BTW, when I mope around sick at home, I watch the 1970 flick "Le Mans" starring Steve McQueen and the Porsche 917.
NO car sounds better than the mighty 917 at full throttle down the Mulsanne Straight.

Arrow Uhhh...

If your fever is still 102 deg (has been that high for more than a few hours), you should really go have yourself checked out..even if you have to go to the emergency room.

A fever is nothing to mess with, especially one that is more than a couple degrees over normal (98.5). Your brain is basically frying and if not monitored/addressed can cause permanent damage and result in other complications as well.

Hope you feel better soon...seems like EVERYONE is sick lately!
