100 octane

I just put in a couple gallons of 100 octane straight out of the pump at vp racing at rancho san antonio in los altos. ****s so expensive.... almost 7 a gallon but man I was running smooth and it pulled so nicely, I wish I wasnt so poor so I could fill up a whole tank

Sorry in advance! I feel a citizen's obligation to jump into these high octane threads and shill WI. It's like a gospel for people like me who used to run perma-100 octane tunes.

So much cheaper. It's water, it's free. No more driving out of your way to go to that ONE gas station that has 100 octane.

you do know it doesn't actually add any power unless you had detonation before and even then its just giving you back the power you had in the beginning, not anything extra

unless you have a 100 octane custom tune

Yeah and for some cars, running 100 on a 91 tune might hurt performance

Yea gotta agree with the others, unless you're tuned for its not worth your hard earned money to spend on 100.

yup, 2-3 gallons perhaps to help prevent knock and eliminate bad tanks of gas, ubt a whole tank of 100 is useless

I did notice the car pulls a bit smoother with just 3 gallons of 100

When you are on 100, your EGT's will be lower. Great for the track, even if you aren't tuned for it.

the recomended gas for the sti is actually 93 it says in the manual but they say 91 is fine so mixed like a couple gallons of 100 with a couple gallons of 91 I definately felt a lot dif than running on jus 91
