100,000 mile club

I just joined tonight- after owning the car for 944 days.

That's crazy miles on a 2002, though
I've only put 80k miles on in that time.

some interesting (or not- you decide) breakdown of those numbers:

My commute to work is 1 mile.
I don't drive to work every day, but if I did, that would account for 20 miles per week.

over 134 weeks, that leaves about 97,300 miles for the weekends.

That works out to average 721 miles per weekend.

Something in the neighborhood of $9500 in gas.

Thats what I get for having 2 cars ...I put about 1000miles/week on the other one.

Are you sure you wrote all the places that you went to?? Maybe you missed Alaska,NY,NJ,Florida,Maine and other eastern states??

Wow! Amazing! You must be a heckuva WRX pilot!

It's not possible to get 100k on a car in Hawaii without circling the entire island of Oahu 757 times. (Oahu is only 40 miles long and 26 miles wide)

With that being said I hit 20k at 1 year and 5 months...
