+1 Rs4 :D
So my neighbor down the street just got one of these. I barely know the guy, but we always give the car guy nods when I drive by. One day I pull over and jokingly said, "What the S4 wasn't enough for you?" Towards the end of our conversation he says. "Yeah man, come on by one weekend and we'll go for a drive, and you can drive it." Hesitantly I accept. I mean it is a car that is WAY beyond my means if something bad were to happen.
Well today it happened, I got to drive the 430 hp V8 with Miltek exhaust and a 8200rpm rev limit, and it was nothing but the ends of my lips connecting to my ears. The acceleration was very linear, and man 3rd to 4th gear just kept pulling. As It was not my car I didn't push too hard, even though he kept prompting my to, "Go, go as hard as you want, test it out, it's already broken in." So I just brought it to 120 (I don't recommend this
) in 4th and then backed off as the conscience kicked in. We got to take it through "Sharp Park Road" which for those of you that know it is a very small section of twisties in Pacifica. The ride was so smooth, yet it handled with confidence, and with Lamborghini Gallardo 14.4" 8pot brakes up front stopping is not a problem for the stout ride!
It was a beautiful thing, and just had to share, as I've never driven anything that exotic. I know it's no Z06, 996 turbo, 360 Modena, but it's got some sophisticated ball$!

My neighbor said that (as of now) they are only going to produce this RS4 for 07 and 08!
On another note I like the RS4 more than the RS6

Jealousy is a stinky, stinky cologne. These are pretty awesome rides. I went checking out the S4's but decided while there are RS-4's I cannot get an S4 even though it's $20k more. The little body differences, 420bhp instead of 340, etc etc. Truly awesome car and one of the few these days. I really wish I could handily afford a $75k car to drive around because in that case I would have an RS-4.

usually vehicles with bad gas mileage make up for it by hauling loads of stuff for $
so maybe he should start a taxi business like they have at nurburgring

Speaking of gas milage, I think he said he gets less than/around 15 mpg, depending on how heavy his foot is! Not sure how he's measuring. I know newer Audi's have a computer that tells you your mpg, but I still do the good ole # of miles divided by the # of gallons!
