Damn dude, stupid people...
Is only the windshield damage? I don't see the hood damaged or the roof..maybe bit of paint chip. It looks like it was intentional. I swear, ****ing haters, my car's been targeted and messed with so many times. I have found countless **** done to my car...starbucks cups on my hoodscoop, left over food box on my wing with food over my windshield, 3-4 dents/dings, and i swear to god some ****er in a truck threw a rock at my car, but i don't remember for sure, luckily it went straight through my hoodscoop and dented the tmic a little, no bigger, but could've been way worse...
It really does look like someone hit it with a bat or something, there's no way something could've hit it and fell off, did you see debris anywhere?
Anyways, glad you didn't get hurt physically.
Atleast the windshield is like 200-300 max to replace, for body parts like fender, bumpers, doors, it's that AND paint. I hope you get it taken care of and insurances usually have good policy on the windshield replacement thing.

the car is now at Master's auto body off industrial in Hayward. they've done some work for my buddy's jetta show car as well as painted my side skirts before, so i figured i'd take it there again. i went there today to get some stuff out of my car, like my Comeback Kid cd and sunglasses. damn, did it suck to see my car in it's state
there was about 4-5 customers crowded around the car just staring at it...i guess it's cool it still turns heads in its current state
. yes, i seem to be making light of it, but what's done is done, right? one thing though, as i did a quick look at the car, is that i think i might have crubbed one of my wheels as i came to a stop. eeek.

After looking at these pictures pretty carefully - it looks like there are 2 impact points identicle in size, around a foot apart from eachother... It almost looks as if someone was walking over your car (literally) and stomped on the windshield...
Either that or something that had to have been large in mass with 2 distinct points that could impact the windshield in that way. Whoever said this was intentional - i agree. Unless it was like a desk or table or chair or something that flew off the truck.
The two smaller impact points at the base of the windshield also suggest that the person wasnt expecting to go through the windshield and possibly fell to his knees. The spacing looks about right also.... Hmmmm, so do you even know how it happened?

Oh god, these pics make me sick to my stomach. Im so sorry for you dude.
It does look like someones knees, but the scratch on the roof doesnt match up.

That looks really bad, I'm going to look for a 4 leaf clover for you or kidnap a leprechaun so your luck can change.
