That was not by choice! I got a haircut so bad I was forced to shave it all off for the first time in my life. I think that whole event is somewhat responsible for my currently shaggy do

Let me know when you're coming up... we should hit up the karts again.

Props to Ed on his continued success. You've established a great name for yourself. If only I could get you to Louisiana to tune mine.

I'm getting a stromung divorced dp catless soon and want to road tune but still looking into it...but you mean to tell me that you only have a TBE and a MBC on your car and you got THAT much tq?? lol

This is an 06 WRX... 2.5l + tiny turbo = lots of torque

200/212 untuned is actually really good... many Cobb stage 2 cars put down less than that. Sounds like you have a good motor.

At the time I dyno'd @ GST's dyno day I also was running lean and turns out it was just an old fuel pump going bad so I got it replaced.

Ah... that'll do it. You're probably back down to ~185-190whp now that you fixed the fueling.

How does the boost solenoid tuning help out with STis. I'm not really familiar with this. It seems like a good bang for the buck.

The solenoid does help on STI's but the difference isn't as big as it is on the 2.0. I don't usually recommend them to STI's with stock turbos unless the customer is looking to get the absolute most out of the stock turbo... upgraded turbo STI's should deffinately upgrade the solenoid IMO, however.

Thanks

I'm sure its less now that I don't have my TBE. Although I'm getting my catless dp soon

Interesting. For the money though it seems tough to overlook. I'll spend 50 bucks or so to get a few horsepower any day.

The main gains aren't in overall power but rather in response.

Works for me. Saves me from spending 800 bucks on a new ignition which I probably should get anyway.
