Like it says +1 to Capitol Subaru!!!
Heres the story...(I am BAD with names so I will edit later to add names of those who helped us)
My friends wife called me up on Friday Night and wanted to know where she could buy a Subaru for her Husband (my good friend) for thier anniversary. I told her there was Santa Cruz, Redwood City, San Francisco...and wait...theres a new place on Capitol Expressway (down the street from where we both live).
So, we met up (without her husband knowing...lol) to "take a look" at what they had. We get there and it is freeeezing outside...but we are welcomed by a great salesman...I know he is great because he seemed like a cool guy that wasnt trying to "sell" you something...like most salesmen.
He took us to a new 07 Sti and we talked about it...talked about the BBQ they just had and how GREAT the I-club members were that showed and supported!! We looked at a few other cars they had and we discussed what her husband would like.
We were then introduced to a very friendly Manager who joined in on our conversations. We all went inside to the warm showroom to talk numbers. After a while of discussing numbers she decides to sleep on it and they would get back to her in the morning with some new numbers.
We talked on the way home and thought that we will ask about maybe a used 06-07 Sti...Her husband is not picky and would take anything that was "STi" hahaha...
She got a call back and we went back this afternoon...welcomed by friendly, warm smiles. They gave her great numers to think about and also mentioned some numbers of the used 06 they had out back, that was in AWESOME condition!! Too good to refuse!! and YES LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY
....Too make a long story short...monday evening (after work) My friends wife and I will be delivering to my friend... his new 06 Sti!!!! And welcoming him to our Subaru Family. He has no idea what he's in for on Monday!!!!

I'm taking my subie in for the 60k service there in a week or so, so I'm glad to hear they treated you well...hopefully the service dept. is the same way

Nice. Thats a cool thing to do for your friend. I know he'll love it. Capitol Subaru was nice and helpful to my family as well. My salesperson was Jose M. He even helped me a bit when I was test driving, and then I wasn't that good on a manual.

yeah, I'm pretty excited for him. He's been talking about wanting an Sti for 3 years or so, and now he has one.
Cant wait til monday
