I still think it's ugly. Just seems like STI is starting to mean more luxury and less rally by the year.
In somes cases it's cool, but not my style.

navigation, push button start, heated seats, things like that
reason I liked the STi's when they first came out was because it was basically a WRX with the bigger engine, better tranny, better brakes, better suspension.

I don't think you can link an image in your profile, hirogx.
The new cars look too Mazda/Ford mainstream-y to me. The fender flares look like afterthoughts. The whole nose looks goofy - like the toe on a boot. The grille looks like it came straight from a Ford parts bin. The tail lights...ugh. Not only are they about 4 years too late, they're hideous.
The interior looks nice though. Just wish they'd produce it in a 2 door hatch or sedan form instead of forcing us all to go station wagon if we want to play Subaru.

You can get Nav in a WRX so this car is still the same in relation to the WRX. I don't think the US is getting push button start.
The damned egg rear end reminds me of the Lexus SUV... wished they'd change that. I'm sure it still performs and rides like a performance car even though it looks like a bit more luxurious.
anyway IMO the 09 STI looks better than evo 10....

Hahah PT cruiser.
I can't figure out why you'd want a push button start. I mean... what's wrong with twisting a key? Is it just for bling factor? If so...give us a stripped down model from the factory for racing! I'd gladly take crank-em-up windows, no stereo (ok, I'd probably add my own) and lightweight parts for a great little SCCA Solo II platform.
... but please, subtract 2 doors. Either take 2 doors off or take the hatch off. I like sedans, I like hot hatches, but I am not a station wagon fan.
