Isn't that tiny "POS intercooler" from the LGT mor efficient than the current one? The core on that thing looks much thicker than the one on my bugeye.

Wonder how that plays into their hand of stepping out of the rally scene??

BTW, I know for certain there'll be one for everyone to check out at Hammy.

Just ask LIC Motorsports.
Test drives?!!!!

It may be more efficient(?), but under higher boost many of the Legacy guys are finding that the crimping (metal over plastic) is coming undone causing boost leaks.

Selfishly, I'm glad they went that way because there will be more impetus to develop more/better aftermarket solutions that will spill over to the Legacy.

In fact, I heard WBR is developing a big FMIC that will work on the '08 WRX (and also fit the '07-'08 LGT).

Just an FYI, two weeks ago, I put over 1200 miles on a new '08 WRX Hatch and came up to The City (my old hometown) and SJC/Palo Alto for a few days.

I drove in all conditions, road and weather - even in light drizzle and 100+ heat...car handled well and drove great! The car was very refined, quiet, comfortable and had plenty of room for people. Luggage cap is a little small in the hatch though.

I was parked on the street at Fisherman's Wharf, and the car really attracted a lot of attention from all demographics. It looks much better in person and will look even better after you guys start modding them!

That was me! Actually, we were smiling because we knew you knew it was an
'08, especially since you pulled up behind us with your mouth wide open

Nice car BTW, and your exhaust sounded sweet when you rapped us off (that's when my 17 y.o. started laughing)!

I had the chance to autocross the 2008 Impreza 2.5i Wagon, 2.5i Sedan and the WRX, a couple of weeks ago, and I am very impressed with the new design. It was an event that was put together by SOA and I had a chance to push that thing as fast as I wanted. I had a chance to drive 3 laps on both the wagon and sedan N/A and 2 laps on the WRX Turbo.

IMO, the Imprezas 2.5i are built for comfort. The handling part of the 2.5i Wagon and Sedan was not dissapointing at all. On a few corners, I went in a little too hot, both car and wagon was predictable when it comes to recovering. It felt neutral.

As for the WRX, I am quite impressed. It is now fast and comfortable. Unfortunately, it is no best handling (blame the RE92) or fastest car/wagon in the market. But I can tell you this......it is like as comfortable as a Legacy but still retains the characteristics of a WRX.

Saw the 08 Egg today with my fiancee... She actually liked it and said she wanted one... I cried a little.

And on a different note, the new redesigned tribeca is BAD ***. Fing beautiful SUV with even better interior! The snout one doesn't do it for me... the front and the rear have both been changed and it looks amazing!
