good pics though.
I think you nailed it, thats why I think I have such manic swings in opinion about the 08 design, every time I see it at a different angle it looks completely different.

they are very nice, but I will wait until the 09s come out before even thinking about picking one up.
Look around, its not that hard to find them for invoice or just above invoice.

I see them every once and a while. I got to test drive one out here in Dallas 4 days after they got them

"He was like hey we got in the new STis."

I was like oh cool how do you like them.

Tossed me the keys and said "you tell me"

it was pretty ridiculous

LOLOMG! 5 feet? maybe in Santa Rosa. the average spot you cant even open your door to the middle door stop, and ive been parked next to in other cars where i cant even open the door to get in!

yeah, because in 5 years i want to go to a Subaru meet and have the only S***y looking 08 with door ding reflections, while all the others are super clean. and when you see door dings on someones car, you can tell what type of person they are.

cars have feelings you know.

and if it were a rare exotic i could give a F***

umm...unlucky? maybe they are the kind of people that buy their car to drive and enjoy, rather than the kind that buys then worries about the real world. you talk with the passion, but dude... most people are not worried about door dings, yeah most will say they suck and they rather not have them, but door dings are not going to change the way people live their lives.

i know some that baby their cars to the point where they don't even drive it. i understand that the car is your baby, but if you're going to live in fear then why buy the car that you did? shoulda bought a POS... maybe a really really nice POS.

i for one realize that a car in the real world is at risk of damage. but i drive my car everywhere anyways. rock chips? yeah i got them. door dings? yeah i got 3. but talk to anyone that knows me and they will all tell you that i care for the car. i paid for it, i drive it, i enjoy it, i wash it, i maintain it, it is a real world car.

now that i think about it, its not the dings i care about, its the F***ers that leave them and walk away as if nothing happened.

Like, i could care less if someone steals my personal belongings, since i have insurance, its the fact that the thief is making money off my property that i hate.

park where you please

I did get the email from them Matt. You still going??

I will not get one until next year earliest. I need to find out where I am going to be stationed next before I can make that kind of financial decision.
