i like the center console and the single tip exhaust. the rest of the interior including new steering wheel look cheap. i'm sure it'll grow on me like all the other new models always end up doing though...

Nice center tach!
And the cruise control is like the 04 STi - everything is on the small stock on the right lower side of the steering wheel (you can kinda see it in the pic).

That's where the cruise control on/off switch should've been from Day 1. I'm glad they made the change across the Impreza line.

thanx for the pics
I'm really not feelin' the wheels or the steering wheel, though. I thought the stock rims couldn't get any uglier, but... just my own $0.02...
Also, I kinda liked having that "momo" emblem on the steering wheel. <shrug> At least they made the painted sideskirts standard equipment.

iono, im not sure i like it. i really like my 04 steering wheel, i think better than the new 05. i dont really like the new radio eather, the hole center consol. the rims are also ugly, but i like the exhaust and i like how the side skirts come painted.

Steering wheel with big pleiades logo...way cooler.
Rims...definitely cooler. Kosta called that one.
Interior...cooler.
Exhaust...cooler.
7 thumbs up from me.

I too like the single exhaust tip (looks kinda like what I have right now lol)
Also, it's nice that they finally included color-matched sideskirts.
I like the color, but not design of the new wheels: makes the car look more petite-footed or something, or like the car's not as "planted" looking.
Steering wheel, eh, take it or leave it.
BTW, is it just me or do those treads look like something other than the Rarely Effective 92's?
Thanks a lot for the pics, Zee!

funny... those rims look my aftermarkets! i have the 5-zigen MK 5s. Damn, the biggest change is the single tip. much cleaner fit with the car
i agree that the steering wheel is kind of cheesey. i wonder why thwey change the 04 seats? if there was one "compliment" i constantly get it is how cool the seats are
