The interior will suprise you. Mine is rattle free in my MR 15,000 miles later.
My 04 WRX had like 15 rattles by 8,000 miles.

As for interior, I think he meant the design of the interior and dash not the build quality. It does look rather dated. I think Sport Compact Car called it "last updated in 1986". But then if I were worried about the interior, I'd be shopping for a Lexus.

Actually I didn't buy my WRX for the interior either, which I thought sucked as well.
