02 wrx has an issue and needs a tissue, maybe

Driving to work this morning and decided to do some boosting(i'm sure none of you do that lol) and I noticed under hard acceleration that my battery and brake(e-brake) light came on, then when I left off the gas they turned off... tried it again and it did the same thing. Car has been running normally without issue. It doesn't throw a CEL so I can't get a code or anything to diagnose... any other ej20 guys have this problem before?

Seems like the opposite of what should happen if it's the alt.

Maybe a bunk ground or a wire touching something.

I am kinda leaning towards the battery...it's atleast 3 years old. Maybe I'll get a new battery and clean all the ground wires and make sure there tight. Brake light was throwing me off track... I am pretty sure I need a new A/C idler pulley as well(not sure if that could be related to my issue) guess it's time to go shopping

Those things are cheap as hell and easy to swap. Might as well do it.

The AC pulley... I think so. They're like $25.

Yeah I'm probably going to do the A/C pulley and belts soon and clean the ground wires and see how it goes after that until I have the cash for a new battery(grr) like I mentioned before the car still runs good and always cranks over the first try.

Go to an autozone or similar place and get your battery tested for free. No sense is spending $100+ on a battery if yours is fine. Batteries, in general and as long as you're not using a lightweight battery, should still be great after 3 years.

Electrical gremlins are a pita. Good luck finding it.

Maybe check your brake conditions, and guessing it is the rears. Same thing used to happen on my GSR and ITR when the rear pads were worn out. The ABS light would trigger on the dash.

I am pretty sure it's battery/alternator related.. Did a h6 brake upgrade in October on the rear new rotors and pads.. I'm going to put a volt meter on this thing after work today and see what it reads
