02 wagon question
If you need one to hold higher boost, Cobb makes a nice recirculating one that functions like the stocker. If you want one just to vent to the atmosphere for the noise refer to post #2. Its not healthy for Subys

i've ran one since the day i bought my car back in 2006. And guess what? I still have a bov on it!! And no, my motor has not blown up yet
BOV arent bad as long as you know what youre doing. I used to think they were terrible but ive done some reading and as long as you replace the springs you should be fine, if youre real paranoid you can get tuned with it.
although im not a fan of them, they are showy and are just asking for trouble from the police. I prefer hearing turbo spool.

I've owned a few and they all pretty much sucked. Gas mileage will go down and car will run slightly rich. If I did it again, I'd spend the money on a newer style GFB hybrid one. Bit expensive around $300 or so but you can fully control them from recirc to atmosphere.
