02-03 WRX steering wheel installed in '97 GF

I've tried searching but only found a RS write-up. Has anyone installed a 02-03 MOMO WRX steering wheel into a GF, more specifically a 1997 Outback sport?

From what I understand and have read, I need to swap the clockspring? My car doesn't have cruise control, so do i need to worry about this? Also, will the airbag work for my car as well?

As far as the cruise control, it shouldn't be a problem at all... Just leave it unplugged.

PS: You shouldn't have any problems installing the wheel to your car... The only thing that comes to mind is the clock spring.

You will most likely have to get a wrx clock spring that mates to the steering wheel in order to install the specified set up you want. Thats about it, and if you dont have cruise control or dont have a lever for it, then just tie the connector down some where so it wont rattle behind the air bag when you are driving. I found that sliding it into the retainer clip sits it just fine.
