You just gotta know when to call, raise, re-raise, bluff, fold, etc. The cards have little to do with it.

 

i just won with a full house on pokerstars with a 8



also, my buddy won 12 grand with a 8 cause it was the bad beat hand at the local card room

I've won w/ a 7 2 off suit before too. I bluffed all the way and caught a lucky river and got a boat. :x

Cards dealt were:

Me: K(hearts)-7(clubs)
Buddy: 8-4 (clubs)

flop: 6 diamonds - 6 clubs - 10 clubs

4 street: Q clubs - I go all in 73 chips, buddy calls

river card: K clubs (w00t! I got the flush BUT)

I lose with a flush (7), he wins with a flush (8) grrrrrrrrrr

That sux, Ted. That's happened to me a few times. I didn't go all in, but I lost big on those hands lol. That looks like the target poker set my friend has.

 

yup.....its a pretty cool set....its got the little dice printed on each chip around the edge. I actually just picked up a sweet poker set today....its got the real clay chips like casinos have, not the composite ones, cant wait to break it in.

yea my g/f got me a 500 clay chip set last valentines day with a poker table
