I had a similar thing happen to me like 4 years ago but it was different in key ways. First off the guy was going about 10mph under the speedlimit and I passed him in a LEGAL passing zone. He sped up to stop me from doing it but I made it anyways. He then proceeded to tail gate and **** with me all the way down into town. Every stop light he would get out of his car like he wanted to do something.

I was in the right hand turn lane stopped and looked over just as he chucked a full water bottle at my car (which ended up denting my roof). I immediately jumped out of the car to confront the guy.....at which time he took off like a little *****.



my question is....you started it. He escalated it. You re-escalated it. Then you ran away when he wanted to finish it. One would think that if you were that pissed you would have just stopped. But then again....anyone can be tough behind glass in a moving vehicle.

You probably could have just waved a hand to say sorry for cutting him off. I've cut folks off on accident...it happens. Most get pissed then see it was an accident and chill out.

 

yeah...that works. Happened to me once. I called some buddies of mine and told them I was following someone that ****ed with me big time and literally drove me off the freeway after trying to drive me into the center devide. Told my buddies turn by turn where we were going.

Unfortunately for me they stopped before my buddies could get there...they trapped me in a neighborhood and 3 huge dude jumped out of the car. Fortunately I carry a 4 cell mag lite with me. It was enough of a deterant to deflate the situation.

 

I've always wanted to get some high powered rear facing lights so I can blind people using their high beams back. ...while I'm at it, I'd like a hood mounted rotary cannon, oilslick and smokescreen buttons, and an ejection seat/rocket pack. I think that will do.

 

This is a good story of mine but I don't want to go into too many details because i did something very bad to someone but...

This one time 3 THUGS in a little car threw a full soda can at my car and it bounced off my roof. We were driving side by side so i rolled down my window and gave them a few choice words, well traffic on the street stops, im about 1 car length behind them and one of the big THUGS gets out of his car, i yell more at them about a fair fight but the guy in a wife beater is walking towards me looking like hes going to beat me down.. hes bigger than me and there were 2 other guys so i reversed alittle bit, floored it from maybe 10-15ft away and clipped him with the drivers side front of the car. He bounces off my hood and im taking off, i look back and hes crawling up from the ground and getting back into his homies car... they start following me, im going to work so i start calling my buddies letting them know there is about to be a brawl in the parking lot.. the 3 thugs stopped following me before i got to work so we didnt have a fight..

it was crazy, i didnt have any weapons or anything in the car and i usually wouldnt back down from a fight but wasnt about to get beat down by 3 guys in the middle of the street and be left there bloody so quickly i thought my only option was to use my car... good **** haha. I've even seen their car a few times after that but never the guys in the car.

Yeah, I know it can be annoying and stupid. But just try to ignore it. Stupid drivers are all over the place... A white Z kept on trying to race me after I left MPJ Performance today. he tried all kind of things... brake check, hazard lights, cutting me off, speed off... it wasn't worth it... plus, my 00RS wouldn’t be able to do much anyway.

 

Yeah I find it funny when people do this. I've had people do it in thick traffic. I'm like WTF? Where do you want me to go. They end up getting pissed and smashing off and cutting other people off to get away from their own foolishness. Awesome!!! some people are retards all the time and some just some of the time...everyone has a little retard in them I think.

+1 If I did something stupid, like cut someone off I'd apologize. If the dude wants to be a dick back, then I'll just chill and be fine. They will usually calm down and drive off after a little while.

And for the person who said that the thread starter can't go to jail, you'd be wrong. What if while he was tailgating the svt, the guy caused an accident. He could go to jail as the cause of it. Getting pissed just isn't worth it anymore.
