I agree, minus the s-techs part

They lower the car way too much and are way too soft

Get the espelirs, prodrives, or JDM sti springs instead

I take it you drive an 06 sti?

if so I'd ask this...future plans for the car? Mods?

if you plan on modding I'd get an AP2 and a protune. Even on stock parts it's crazy what you can get. Then it gives you a platform to grow from.

That or suspension. pink or crucial springs.

I do have plans of an AP2, full exhaust and a protune, but for right know i am pleased with the performance. As I stated I just want it a little stiffer with a lower profile.

So you think pink or crucial?

I have the pink wagon springs and they rip. Shoot send Jeremy at crucial an email and talk spring rates with him. He's a cool guy and he'll be honest. Every review I've read people love his springs and the sell out QUICK.

Going with suspension before power was my rule of thumb and it still is. Your car is already very fast, lets tighten up its handling a bit . Front and rear swaybars w/ rear endlinks will make a world of a difference.

Put the money towards the EM and Tune. I think that is the best bang for the buck.

In your opinion. A new access port is going to be more than 500$, and even then you are just using an off the shelf map. Its going to cost a couple hundred for a protune, and it would be pointless in my opinion to get one on a bone stock car.

Not to sound like a jerk, but have you read any of the posts in this thread? I've stated a few times what I'm planning.

I wouldn't get springs unless you picked up struts to go along with them, otherwise you are going to most likely lessen your handling capabilities while at the same time effectively killing your stock struts. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand lowering springs on the stock struts isn't good for them, and doesn't necessarily yield suspension supremacy.
