not everyone has money to spend on brand new versus slightly used.

but then again you get what you pay for... See: Saved 200 on driveshaft but paid 3000 for transmission

Agreed. I know a lot of people think it's 'good enough', but in the long run you end up spending more. Do the job right the first time.
