oh, if you are lucky, some staples stores would let you use this with it... that's additional 12% off!!

I went to the one on Colmen and they wouldn't let me use it...

Just got one as an early xmas present. Haven't put it in the car yet, but I messed around with it for a while and it's got some cool features. One of them is it tells you where the nearest gas stations are which can come in pretty handy.

Can't believe it was only $200. I asked the guy at Fry's why that was, he said it's because it doesn't update as fast and if you're going 70-80mph on the freeway, it can't track you as fast as the others. Meh....

Not true...

Mio uses the 20 channel SiRFstarIII chipset...

Guess who uses that chipset as well?

Sweet!!! Thanks for that info. I haven't had a nav system before, but I'm pretty impressed with this one. Still getting used to operating it, but it doesn't seem difficult.

yep yep... for $200, you can't beat it. I think the reason it's so cheap is because of the name... I've never heard of Mio until my co-worker got one. I thought it was going to be crappy until I researched it a little and actually play with it. When you actually look at the spec of the hardware and the under layer map database. You then realize, damn, it's a great deal!

enjoy your Christmas gift!
