$1500 for you.

Here is the situation... I've been out of work for awhile and need to find a job. If you get me a lead that get me a job I will give you a minimum of $500 and a max of $1500. This depends on pay and type of employment.

My traditional profession is IT - desktop, sys admin type.

I am pretty handy with lots of basic tools and can paint with the best of them.

I am open to working as a service writer for autos. Loans processing or anything that actually pays a decent salary.

I'm smart, easy to get along with and work hard. I just need that connection... why because the economy sucks.

Please PM me with questions or to discuss this further.

well david i work for a mortgage co. Golden Horizon Mortgage.
I know my office isn't hiring but they're many offices in Ca that might be. Goto goldenhorizonmortgage.com to see where the offices are. My mother and aunt are the regional VP's. the president is a Tony Wahl out of sacramento. im sure they could use a processor. just tell them "Eric from the galt office told you to call and see of tey were hiring". i know what situation you're in. I couldn't get a job to save my life about 4 months ago and my fiance is in the same boat after college. If it works out or if they're interested i'll take the $500 over the next 5 months.

good luck, eric

if you can be a service writer call up all dealerships in the area, and some not in the area.

i work at Napa Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Kia-Volvo as a technician, and i know we already have 3 writers, so i dont know if they hire you there. but try everywhere.

Does it matter where the job location is?
I have a few friends in Southern California that are involved in digital security and network security both professionally and recreationally.

thank you all.

Let me start replying...

I have no loan processing or loan sales exp. However, I plan to put in alot of time and effort if I am to start in a new career. I have no doubt that I can pick it up very quickly.

Per the mortgage/loan possibilities, if there is an opportunity and experience is required and you can train me. I will compensate, above the money that is in the original post.

I have tried a few dealerships... service writing is a few notches down on the list so I have not explored that option extensively.

Location, Nor Cal would be nice since my family is up here. But SoCal is cool too. I went to school down there, but NorCal is the first choice.

pio!x2, pm me with the company name and I'll check the requirements. But I am not an EE or even close.

In a nutshell as for sys admin type exp.
sys admin for development (10UNIX servers and 12 NT servers) been playing with RedHat at home for the last couple of years.

administered at 2 different companies: farms of 20+ NT/2k servers w/ MSSQL 6.5/7/2k and Oracle (though I was not the Oracle DBA) and tons of huge ERP and E-Commerce apps all fully integrated (I did the integration).

then there's the desktop, telco and domain stuff but that's not really sys admin... or is it?

anyway, I've done alot and have helped companies increase revenue by the millions (I worked for Sales for a few years).... now I can't get a call back for a helpdesk position .

thanks all.

trust me i know what boat your in.. If things go well for me i might be able to slide you in my job as my replacement. Seems that you have the right blend of telcom, sys admin, and desktop support.

Basicly i run everything from the Demarc to the fax machines. Both voice and data, also have to support the application developer and make sure things are kept up to shape. The location is in san ramon, and this all hinges on my landing a security job. Which i have a few leads on. But nothing is for sure, and the way the market looks for security people my CISSP dont mean much anymore.
