All participants should get together and
discuss what is fair and what is not.

Most people wants to know which car has
the best setup for Buttonwillow.

The competition does not need to be at
the same time (racing style).
It could be timed separately, because
racing together might be a little bit
too dangerous for others.

Whoever that could produce the fastest
lap wins.

Just my 02.

nah all you do is put them all on the track placed and spaced by 30 sec acorrding to fastest warm up lap (3 laps to warm up... 4 cars warming up at a time)

edgar,

kinda like a rally but not really...

Great idea...but,
what if there is slow traffic?
Would that be fair to the person
that is running at the back of the
pack?
Keep in mind that safety could be
an issue when people are desperate
to pass.

Bring your lap timers and just make it the fastest lap per session.

I'm going to put my $$$ on Sheehan. But I'll fight the rest of y'all for 2nd place.

To be honest, i'm not feeling the $$$-thing. It may lead a few people to go beyond their skill level (most of us have cars that are better than the drivers).

This will be my first trip to Buttonwillow, i'm just trying to get a "baseline" for my next few visits.

I agree that the $$$'s thing may cause some potential dodgy driving..

Perhaps this should stick to being a fun Subaru track day (I'm up for chipping some $$$'s in Chris for the "ahem" entertainment!).

Now if some of the tuners/vendors want to have a sideline bet with each other based on fastest lap time....

in this case then make it a knock out style race... where the slowest driver every lap gets knocked out and MUST PIT! so it keeps only the fastest running cars on the track.

If this is a race with other cars on the track suspension wont be as big of an issue, passing power will be.
Plus if u cant hang it drift it....
