Anyone in Japan wants to hang out?
I just got into Tokyo/Yokohama area last night and will be here for 3 weeks. While my friends are at work I plan on wandering the streets but if anybody in the Subaru community wants to hang out, let me know. It would be cool to check out the automotive scene in Japan or other things I can't find in the US. I've been to Japan 3 times so I'm not a noobie but I'm sure there are still things I haven't experienced yet.

I'm going to be out there by early august so if you want to go to the hakone touge let me know. my dad just bought a 22B STI #106 so I'm just die'n to test drive it. I wonder if anyone would by the suspension off of it here in the US
pm me if you wanna do some sight seeing.

Thanks for the offer but unfortunately I'm heading back on Aug. 2nd so I don't think the timing would work out. It would be awesome to check out the hakone touge though! BTW, I hear that Roppongi has changed a lot and a lot of clubs have closed down b/c Roppongi Midtown has opened and the government wants to clean up that part of town however the hostess bars are still around b/c of the yakuza. I have to go and see for myself.
Choku dori, unless you are an expat in the US or your family owns the company, I suggest leaving b/c from what I can see in the US and in Japan, you'd have more freedom with a US company. It may be a one sided view since I've only worked for one company (US company) in my life and I just quit recently. If you don't mind sharing, what kind/name of company do you work for?

<----- Didn't you notice my location?
I work for Bridgestone. The potential for promotion is what keeps me there, but if that doesn't pan out then I'll move on. Simple as that haha.
How about yourself? Who do you work for?

Sorry, I don't read Japanese. Used to work for Intel and it was average but I don't consider myself an average person either so I left and am on early retirement now. Do you get hookups for tires?

thats for sure.... I used to work for anumber of different japanese companies and I rarely got any time off to where I could go and visit family in the US or Japan. But since going into law enforcement I rack up over time and have a nice work schedual.
Kinda of funny going from Japanese performance industry to law enforcement.

my dad just sent me pics of the car but I have to scann them so I'll get them up asap. he was able to change the license plate to 22 and put on speed line 18x8.5 magnesium race wheels with pirelli p zero c. kinda funny how the fenders just swallow up the wheels. I think CE28N with 17X9 will fit better and a good offset.
