Names? I didnt see any name calling...

Anyway, I remember Andrews old neon green engine block... Take that block and your manifold and that would be one crazy neon fest under the hood!

I've since then blown my engine.

BAN SUVS was right on one of his post.

"Another turbo on an engine that wasn't designed for a turbo..."(something like that)

I am going a full ej20 swap.

Here is some links in the meantime on my car:

Wasn't me that said that, I'm all for turboing the EJ25. I just don't pretend it isn't gonna blow up, that's why I'm putting my STi short block in with the turbo. What exactly broke on your motor? If it was piston or rod, it's probably cheaper for you to just get the EJ257 block than do a whole new swap.

I think my heads were partially not right from when my engine was put back together(had thicker head gaskets installed before my turbo install). They rattled pretty loud.

I'm not taking any chances this time. A full longblock with harness will run me about the same cost ( i've found them for $1500 complete). If my heads were fine, I would def just keep them and get the shortblock( I think the ej25 heads flow better than the ej20's if i'm not mistaken), and I wouldn't need to mess with the wiring harness.

What kind of price are you getting on the STi shortblock? Rumor has it they are $1400 from the dealer.
