vf 22 needs headers!
so i was wondering
whats a good header to go with the vf22?
i have a MRT uppipe already...
i wanted something cheap but powerful
i was looking into the greddy or the sti....
but i saw some cheap headers and up pipe from ebay...
what is the deal with these??.. they cost under 300 bucks for a header and uppipe?? that sounds to good to be true......
has anyone every bought these ebay headers

yeah... but unequal length is only good for the "boxer" sound. that's it. It's worse for performance and engine reliability...
That first one sure looked nice. It was much closer to the same length, but it still looked uneven. Having a longer primary helps maintain high exhaust gas velocity at the exhaust port, but then it hurts velocity at the turbo inlet. It's all a balancing act.

I agree and disagree,
many high performance companies have unequal length headers, zerosports, agua, maxim,
then also have equal length, jun, invidia, syms...
I think they both are good... but the gains are just a difference in powerband... 4-2-1's are better for low mid high, and equal are for mid - high IIRC... and the Zerosports one i've heard made the most power out of the bunch in a Hyperrev Magazine.

4-2-1's can be equal and unequal length. They have nothing to do with each other.
4-2-1's are good for torque because they allow the exhaust pulse of one cylinder help scavenge air from the other. 4 into 1's don't give as much because USUALLY the run of piping after the merge (the collector piping) is too short before it meets up with the turbo.
