octane level with boost level

How high can you run the boost pressure (safely) before needing to run higher octane gas. Also I've heard one case of the turboxs utec frying the stock ecu and then itself. Need info on that one.

You can probably increase the boost safely on 91 to a small degree, but you can't do it on stock electronics. As for the fried ECUs, well, stuff happens. I doubt it's a wide spread problem.
