I just bought a stage one FAT turbo kit for my 99 impreza 2.5rs. How releable should my car be after install?? My car has 80k miles on it. thanks, casey

 

RS? Don't run too much boost? How much are you planning on running? I would say if you keep it at 4 or 5 psi you should be fine (with the proper tuning... A/F ratios etc.)

If you just slap it on, 14 psi, no tuning at WOT... you might get a mile (with coasting after your engine grenades)

wow let me tell you now you should ask for a refund and get a jdm motor i turboed my legacy from fat with one of there sooo called kits nd they insisted ont he phone that hey could do itbut they didn't send me abunch of teh stuff i needed. with my 95 legacy after 4000 dollars and a blown head gasket and a bunch of promises of easy upgrades i was in the drain 6000$ and i only ran like 3 boost it wasn't worth it. just get an engine. seriously it is much cheaper to geta 260 hp motor form nippon motors and spend teh money on install they have a impreeza wrx sti fornt clip for like 2900 that is basicly swtich form a to b! do that the guys at fat never gave me a good vibe. and made all sorts of excuses turboing a na motor isn't worth the head ache at least not for me.
