FP Turbos

whats the difference between the VF30 and the VF22 for the WRX? is one of them like an 18g and another a 20g or what?

The 22 is larger than the 30. With an uppipe, Vishnu turboback, injectors, fuel pump, and engine management it is good for nearly 250 hp at the wheels with little lag and a large torque curve.

yea the 22 is better for higher up in the rev range
the 30 is a mid range turbo, all around good, but lags a bit up high. VF34 is identical to the 30, but with ball bearings for a bit quicker spool.

try the fp green turbo. Its for dsm's. Im good for 430 at the wheels

The VF30 has slightly more lag from off-boost than stock, but can make much more power. It is not laggy "up top" though it doesn't make the peak power that the VF22 does.
