What is a good turbo for auto-x? I would like it to spool up as fast or faster thenthe stock one. I also don't want to lose more top end. Is this too much to ask for?

i'd look at the turbos offered by deadbolt enterprises. they offer ported TD04s that spool up way earlier than the stock turbo, and don't loose anything on the top end. you can get them clipped for more top end too. i'm still breaking mine in, but it's sooo smooth, and the power is very useable.

if you're okay with throwing more cash at it, buy yourself a VF24 and then send it to deadbolt for porting. you'll need injectors, engine management etc. but it should spool very quickly and provide a nice powerband for auto-x.

OK, thank you. I think i might just go with the porting of the stock turbo.

That's not a good low end turbo for the EJ20. It spools faster because of the extra displacement of the EJ25.
