If you don't already have Turbo-Back exhaust, check these two packages out. I'm gonna run the V400 once I have the money, but the V350 is a great option for upgrading your turbo without having to upgrade your fuel system, and then get a basic reflash done. The reason I like these packages is becuase they have pretty much guarenteed results. All you do is ship your ECU to them overnight, and I think pay for them to Overnight it back and you will only be without for a total of 2-3 days. Unless you live close enough to Danville, CA, then you can just take your car in and have it reflashed through the OBD-II port.

Vishnu Stage 2 V350-http://www.vishnutuning.com/wrx06_stage2_v350.htm
Vishnu Stage 3 V400-http://www.vishnutuning.com/wrx06_stage3_v400.htm

If you do already have Turbo-back exhaust, you can contact Vishnu and see if you can get just the ECU reflash done for whichever stage you are interested in, I believe that they only charge $649 for the reflash. Then get either of the turbos here (If you go with the FPGreen, you can also get your Walbro 255lph fuel pump and 850cc Injectors and gaskets and all that here):

Hope that helps, I'm just not a huge fan of upgrading from OEM WRX to OEM STi parts.

why upgrade when you can go COBB Access Port + TBE (STG.2) that will net you some serious power.. then if you are unhappy then sell the AP... AP's are not only the best bang for your buck in terms of modding but bring in the best resale value as well.. something to think about..

ATTN:These are my opinions. There is no need to blast me just because I don't worship Cobb. That being said, here we go:

I guess different people have different ideas of what is considered "serious power". A hunch says that if someone is wanting to do a turbo upgrade, that 285HP isn't quite enough. Just a guess though.

Personally, IN MY OPINION I think Cobb's "Stage 2" package is a joke. Yes, Access Ports are cool, but the only thing they're good for, IN MY OPINION, is if you are later going to add the STi TMIC and either a VF39 or FP18G turbo and don't want to have to get your ECU reflashed/retuned. It costs $875 more than the Vishnu Stage Zero V280 package, which makes only 5 less HP, and doesn't require an exhaust swap. Or, for $30 less, with the same components(ECU/TBE), you can get the Vishnu Stage 1 V300 package, make 300HP, and run faster than a Cobb Stage 2. Hell, for another $770 over Cobb Stage 2, you can get the Vishnu Stage 2 V350 package, which will make 350HP, which is probably about what you would make with either the VF39 or FP18G w/STi TMIC, which would cost quite a bit more than $770. These figures, IN MY OPINION, make the Vishnu packages a much better value.

There's my 2 cents the second time around, next time it will cost 3.
