20g turbo question
Does anyone know if just on regular like 91 gas could i get a 20g for 350-400 whp
i have 2006 wrx and i have
MODS- so far
up pipe
down pipe short intake
perrin fmic
I have bigger injectors and fuel pump but havent put it in and i have a new utec havent put that in but ya i probably have a bit more but im running blank right now.

Without knowning too many details.. I would guess no. However, this is just a generalization.
My theory is that the amount of boost necessary to create that level of power would result in pre-detonation on any fuel lower than 93.
I can't say for sure what the HP or boost threshhold is for switching to a higher octane but it's probably right around that mark.

perrin fmic on stock turbo??? i did that for a while. i reccomend taking it off and using your stock tmic until you get a bigger turbo. You'll notice such a big difference in boost response.
as for hitting 350whp+, you could probably hit around 300-315whp on a mustang dyno with pump gas.
